Localization

In an effort to improve the usability of our keyboard for non-English users, the keyboard has been translated to some other languages. Machine translations have been used for some, but we also allow users to make translations on our localization platform.

How to change the language

The settings menu language will follow your system locale. If it is incorrect, you need to change your system locale to the correct one, or change it for FUTO Keyboard specifically in App Info.

The keyboard itself will follow the language you’ve chosen in the language selector. For example, if you have English, Spanish and Portuguese enabled, but you selected Portuguese, then the keyboard will be in Portuguese.

How to improve our translations

You can visit our localization platform at https://i18n-keyboard.futo.org/ and contribute to the translation of your language. More information is provided on the platform.
